Verde Mundus is the empirical foundation of an active MPhil/PhD research programme investigating whether QR and NFC-based digital receipts can meaningfully reduce BPS-coated thermal paper waste across UK coastal small businesses. The platform generates real-world pilot data across 10 coastal SME deployments, feeding directly into peer-reviewed academic outputs targeting 3–5 publications.
